Our NIFTE pumps are a completely new, cost effective and environmentally friendly pumping technology. They can be manufactured from moulded plastics and extruded alumnium and have no moving parts other than two check (one-way) valves. Unlike petrol, diesel and electric pumps which have an array of precision moving parts or electrical components, our simple and innovative alternative offers fundamentally lower levels of maintenance and is a more cost effective solution than its competitors.

Our NIFTE pump is also cost effective compared to PhotoVoltaic (PV) solar pumps. The NIFTE avoids the expensive and often environmentally unfriendly manufacturing processes which make the initial purchase price of a PV pump so high.
Once installed, our NIFTE pumps can be powered by sunlight or waste heat - free energy sources. Furthermore, they offer independence from the electricity grid and the logistics of fuel supply.

The table below sumarises the macro benefits of the NIFTE core technology, compared to existing alternatives. For an analysis of the operational economics and the carbon advantages of each major application of the NIFTE technology, please see the applications pages.

Note: Our analysis includes both the cost of the pump and a solar collector. If a customer already owns an appropriate solar collector, the potential benefits of a NIFTE pump are even more attractive.
