Thermofluidics’ expertise lies in the replacement of complex mechanical devices with novel fluid-mechanical or thermodynamic processes.

Our DAHR (Double-Acting Hydraulic Ram) pumps enables a significant range of matched surface pumps to raise water from deep below ground and pressurise it at surface level with unprecedented levels of efficiency.

Our NIFTE (Non-Inertive-Feedback Thermofluidic Engine) pump uses low grade heat, from sources at 30°C or more above ambient temperature to pump fluids. This makes it particularly well suited to energy conversion applications in which the end-purpose is non-mechanical: fluid pumping and heat pumping/cooling.
